At Crave Designss, we have always operated under a single guiding principle: Stewardship over Sales.

As we cross the halfway point of our 120-Day Master Manifesto, we are making a radical shift. Effective today, we are expanding our 25% profit donation from a single collection to our entire flagship store. 15% of all total profits from every collection will support local Wisconsin food banks and churches, and 10% will support the preservation of the Wisconsin environment.

Why would a boutique design house give away a quarter of its profit? Because the "Art of the Contrast" is a reflection of the world we live in—and that world is in a state of urgent need.

The second half of our mandate—10% to the Wisconsin environment—is born from a technical necessity. The environment literally affects our clothing choices, but the fashion industry is often the very thing destroying it.

• The Pollution Problem: The global fashion industry is responsible for nearly 10% of global carbon emissions and is the second-largest consumer of the world's water supply.

• The Waste Factor: Every year, the average American throws away roughly 81 pounds of clothing, most of which ends up in landfills. This "Fast Fashion" model is a direct assault on the natural sanctuaries we love.
